Hi all, I just want to let thoughs of you who may not already know about kitchensinc games. All can be found at www.kitchensinc.net My personal favorites are Win NFL a football game whare you can play a entire season as your favorite football team and try to make it to the souper bowl. another is wingulf a gulf game whare you can play 18 holes of gulf. Winbase4 a baseball game. and much more! Also Jim Kitchen has just come out with an audio combat game called puppy power, whare you shute down enemy aircraft with by flying your own plane and useing a machine gun. For thoughs who know about jim kitchen already, what are your favorite games?
My favorites are baseball and trivia. I love that there's a whole bunch of different question sets to choose from and that he adds more. I also like the puppy1 game, it's a cool idea and definitely a new one for him. The only thing I don't like is I really wish you could use the sapi4 voices instead of sapi5, but oh well. They're awesome games, and free.
Ok call me dumb but what's the differences between sapi 4 and 5?
Well, it's just the version number. So you'd probably think that 5 would be better than 4 since it's newer, but in my opinion it's not. I like the voices for Sapi4 better, the ones for 5 sound like they're gargling if you ask me. But that's just my opinion.
kind of off the subject, but what are the different voices for SAPI 4?
They're the same ones as Sapi5, but they just sound better. Mike, Mary and Sam, and some other ones I can't think of right now, although I think one of them is named Brutus.
I love all of Jim's games, not to hard to play and a lot of fun the spanker game just cracks me up hahaha!!
I like winpoly, winspank, and trucker.
trucker rocks!. But I wish it was more updated to reflect today's economy :)
Or maybe allow us to have a .dat file to make the modifications ourselves?

Hmmm, I never thought about that, being able to modify the economy in the trucker game. Isn't it cool though to think that gas really only cost that much 10 years ago? Also, why is it that when you fall asleep at the wheel, you can only hit other cars, you can't veer off the road and hit the train, or the animals you pass? I don't know, I just think that would be more realistic.
I for one think it would be cool if from the Las angeless trucking terminal you could have choices on whare to deliver the goods too Like if you were at the L.A. trucking terminal, and you wanted to deliver to vermont, Or flordia, something like that. I wonder if we could all team up and send Jim Kitchen E Mails suggesting modifications for this game?
Sappy voices for sappy 4 I think if i have this right are, mike, mary, sam, brutus, fredy, and a few different effects, such as mary in hall, mike in space, and like that. This trucker game sounds interesting, maybe i'll try it.

hmm, I bet if we wrote to him and asked really nicely, he may consider our suggestions. But it would have to be more than a couple of us for him to take notice :)
I would love to have the course more customizable in terms of adding more traps, then customize a sound to those traps. Like
To the right, a small stream
pick a sound for the stream: stream.wav
Just add the sounds to the default dir and have the game look to that dir when a customized sound is called.
To the left: a horse stable
Pick a sound for horse stables: horse.wav

btw, I played the winpup game, well, tried to play it. its bugged. The only choice I was given was ... exit game.
Hey guys. I tried out wintruck, and I liked it. I also played a game of life, and...lost. Damn computer player got all the breaks. Ah well. I also downloaded monopoly, but haven't tried it out yet. I also got winmule, but haven'ttried that one yet either.
In winmule, I always get killed by my own crew. lol That might be a sign that I shouldn'tever get into the drug business. lol

For the Winpup game, have you downloaded the latest version? I think the first one had a lot of bugs, but there's a winpup2.exe file on the site now. I really like the idea of the sounds for the golf courses! That would make it a lot more realistic.
I've only ever written to Jim once with a suggestion for a game and although it wasn't ever implemented, he was prompt with a response and happy to explain why my idea couldn't be taken on. For the record I asked if it were possible to make the Golf game a multi player game.
He seems very aproachable so if you have suggestions, write and chat with him one to one. There probably isn't any need for group action.

By the way, I should have added in my last post that I too love the idea of being able to add your own audio files. That would definitely be a great suggestion to make in my view.

I love kitchensinc games myself! I play baseball pretty much all the time, get beat by the computer on monopoly and life, and play trukker too and like it. BTW, falling asleep behind the wheell, hmmmmmmm, i think I may go try that just to see what happens. The spanking game is funny, I dont have it, I've seen it, and I think they should have something like that for girls, although girls aren't so desperate, so maybe, on second thought, nah. But I love those games! Also love configuring my own files on monopoly and making my own commercials for baseball. So for those who dont know, I definitely recommend them!
How do you make your own comersals? I would like to try that feature.

i've played all the jim kitchen's games,and also asked to have golf,and football updated,but he said he couldn't do it.
i even askeed to have the golf able to play against the computer.
i also asked him to upgrade football with more plays,but he said he would had to re do the whole thing.
wel good luck in playing all his games,and yu can use the real speak for his games also.
and in puppy yu have to turn off jaws to play it.

Well I wrote him myself about making a hockey game, and a flight similation game similar to the truck driveing game and he said he couldn't do that either.
